Hello,
Recently you merged changes which now group the shorthand and longhand flags separately with completion tags.
Although you deactivated it for ZSH, I happen to also need as my own library using carapace also supports this completion display style.

Unrelated, I tried to ping again on cobra's relevant PRs for enhanced support of carapace in closed-loop, I'll keep you updated here.
Thanks for any attempt to solve my issue.

No worries, I actually realized that it is just as easy for me to do it in my own library code, without any hindrance or performance hits.
