booting from USB drive
I am using a 256MB ext3 casper-rw partition.
x64 UEFI-booting or MBR booting
Works OK if I do not add the 'persistent' kernel parameter (but no persistence)
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
I have the contents of the mofo linux ISO on a FAT32 partition (/dev/sda1) and the casper-rw partition is at \dev\sda3.
mount shows /cow is mounted as /dev/sda3 and ls shows the folders are there - e.g. cow/upper/home/mofo/Desktop
Booting from USB using scan/filename= or mapping the ISO file as a partition table entry + a casper-rw partition works.
For some reason, there is only a problem when booting from a FAT32 flat-file partition and when using the 'persistent' parameter.
