The Course is aimed at young scientists working in the field of structural biology: biochemists, biophysicists, and those specializing in macromolecular crystallography (MX), electron microscopy (EM), NMR or bioinformatics.
The participants will have the possibility to learn the basics of SAS, sample preparation, experiment design, data interpretation and will get hands-on experience with the latest modelling programs. The participants are encouraged to bring their own samples to perform synchrotron solution scattering experiments on-site, the results will be used for practical tutorials and discussed on the last day of the course.

Application deadline: July 31, 2016

Academic registration fee is €50. Scientists from industry are required to pay a fee of €1000. Accommodation and subsistence are covered for accepted applicants.
Limited travel grants are available to selected participants coming from labs in countries in need of scientific strengthening.
The applications will be considered by a Selection Committee and the results of the selection procedure will be sent to applicants by email by September 1.
