Battery 1.2.2 never runs when I start my MBP M4. When I manually start it up, I always get the message that it needs to install some backward compatibility stuff and will ask for my password, but this shouldn't happen very often. Well, it happens every time. And my Mac is always at 100% charge. BTW, I run it in clamshell mode most of the time, connected to an external monitor with a magic keyboard and a BT mouse.
