Why does my Azalea suddenly not work anymore?

Sparx has changed their domain for their website from sparxmaths.uk to sparx-learning.com.

As this update is still rolling out to schools throughout the UK, Azalea will inject into both domains for the foreseeable future.

Important

Azalea requires an update to get access to the new domain. If your school has the Sparx update rolled out already, Azalea will not work until you update. Get this update here. Dont forget to remove the old version when updating.

Where are my saved bookwork codes?

Azalea stores bookwork codes in Local Storage, which is linked to specific domains. Due to Sparx changing their domain, this means that all of your bookwork codes cannot be retrieved by Azalea anymore, for security reasons.

What does this mean for me?

If you care enough and your school still uses sparxmaths.uk and not sparx-learning.com, backup your bookwork codes now. You can do this by going to Menu (top right) > Bookwork > Export. This way, when your school has the update rolled out, you can simply import your bookwork codes directly to the new domain.

How do I retrieve my bookwork codes from the old domain?

If your school has already updated to the new domain, there is not really any way to export your old bookwork codes. This wouldn't usually be the case, but Sparx automatically redirects you to the new domain when you try to access the old one.
