my motion controlls are always drifting sideways, this is not because the output is fluctuating but because at idle its not actually at 0.
it would be nice to have some kind of calibration settings to tweak this behaviour, as the deadzone causes more problems than it solves for this particular issue.
Smaller details
in the motion controlls configuration screen, maybe there could be an extra tab that shows 3 bars with an indicator showing the values for the gyro X Y and Z respectively along these bars, with the center of these bars being 0.
under each bar could be a slider that lets you change where 0 is for that axis, to manually calibrate the motion controlls.
an auto-calibrate button could also be nice but from my experience having automatic calibration is not always the most reliable, and having the fore mentioned sliders to tweak it manually would always be a good option to have.
Nature of request
QOL
Why would this feature be useful?
playing games that give you more control trough motion controlls, such as Splatoon 2 and 3 or mario kart 8 deluxe, would be a better experience without a slight drift.
