Overview

It wold be great if support for Dinput controllers could be added for macOS

Smaller details

I use an 8bitdo Pro 2 Wired Controller with macOS. It only supports Dinput mode with macOS, which works fine with all my other games. However it won't show up at all in Ryujinx

Nature of request

feature request

Why would this feature be useful?

Expands controller compatibility

Or if anyone knows any other workarounds to get that would work?

@earlybothers-8 Have you tried switching your controller to xinput mode and seeing if the emulator detects it? The SDL in this emulator works fine with xinput as long as it is wired controls.

You could also check which firmware version is on your controller, the latest is 1.70 try updating it

Unfortunately for some reason the wired 8bitdo controllers only support dinput with macOS, if you connect them in xinput or switch mode, nothing works at all
