Additional (red/error) notification type

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
In context of addon development, in addition to logs where one is able to put whatever might be useful for debugging, I'd like to be able to use existing alerts to notify of errors differently than current default yellow message.

I'd like to be able to specify if alert sent is yellow (default) or red (error) text:

Describe alternatives you've considered
Sending error messages to log (not immediately apparent what the issue is, even if solution is trivial on user's side).
Sending error messages through existing yellow text (not immediately apparent there is a problem)

It's planned in API Revision 7, I probably should document the current proposal here rather than on discord.
