• Using a new, much leaner Data Model and JSON representation to send data from CM to CD.
• Using a new microservice ("DXA Model Service") to improve performance by minimizing roundtrips between Web Application and CIS backend.
• Support for expanding Component links and Keyword links dynamically (in new DXA Model Service) instead of statically (on CM-side).

The DXA 51Degrees Module makes it possible to let your DXA 1.4 Web Application use the Device Detection functionality provided by 51Degrees instead of the default device detection provided by of the SDL Web Context Engine.
