Milkdown not rendering multiple line breaks

I'm attempting to use milkdown to create an editable page and a readonly page. Currently when in the edit page, if I add a bunch of line breaks (saved as \n) after a line, they show in the data that is saved but when I render the readonly page, only one line break is read and so everything is squished onto itself.

eg:

Lorem Ipusm dolor sit amet\n\n\nConsectetur adipiscing elit.

I would expect that to render as:

Lorem Ipusm dolor sit amet


Consectetur adipiscing elit.

But instead renders as:

Lorem Ipusm dolor sit amet
Consectetur adipiscing elit.

Is there a way to fix this? Or a different way to save the line breaks so that they will work as I expect? Thank you for any help!

you can write a mark/directive, something like ::emptyline, as a leafDirective, this custom directive will render as a block (empty paragraph tag actually), this empty P element will divide markdown content. @Tapialj
