YouTube-To-MP3

Yet another youtube to mp3 with metatag (ID3v.2.3) support

Why MP3?

MP3 files allow you to own your music forever, without having to rely on a music streaming service. Downloading MP3s are free and you don't need to pay for a streaming service to get rid of ads. MP3s are also supported by almost every device and music player, so you can listen to your music anywhere.

  • Album Name (When downloading a playlist)

  • Genre (Found from YouTube Tags)
  • Track Number (When downloading a playlist)
  • Lyrics (Synchronized Lyrics supported in Flacbox, Only on iPhone, iPad and Mac)

Requirements:

Installation:

git clone https://github.com/KyeOnDiscord/YouTube-To-MP3.git
cd YouTube-To-MP3
pip install -r requirements.txt

Usage:

python3 cli.py

Then it paste in a YouTube URL (or Playlist URL) or Spotify Track and it will download the audio and add the metatags.
