I'm thinking there are four modes of support I'll want to implement:

  1. Use the luminescence sensor, if available
  2. Use the camera and take the brightness of the image
  3. Use manual hotkeys
  4. Use a mouse wheel

Yes, finally! Hotkeys is enough for me :)
And probably the easiest to implement.

Maybe, but I need time. I'm not gonna start on this until some time after this core is live on the Buildbot

@antoniodesousa Wanna give this a spin on the dev branch? There are a few other things I'd like to integrate before shipping 1.2.0, but this is fully implemented.
