I can see you have deprecated this package however I wonder why you decided to create the latest release without any functionality?

From my observations, you've included type definitions and node_modules but nothing actually functional which makes it so that users upgrading from 2.X.Y end up with a broken environment.

It seems a little misleading to release a "minor" version with nothing in it and would be great if this was documented or reverted somehow.

Worth adding that the last functional release looks to be 2.17.2-beta.2

I also can't see any migration instruction to go from this package to the new recommended. This might be a stretch but would be very welcome as atm I can't tell if this is trivial or complicated.
