App Component: User Settings

Action Performed:

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Sign in with private email (applause email)
3. Switch to OD(Expensify Classic)
4. Go to Settings > Account > Payments
5. Bank account > Add Deposit-Only Bank account.

Expected Result:

Able to add a non-US account

Actual Result:

Not able to Add non-US account after switching from ND to OD

Workaround:

Hmm, I can't reproduce this. No issues adding a non-US deposit account in OldDot after first starting in NewDot.

I'm going to close this for now as it doesn't appear to be consistently reproducible. @IuliiaHerets if you still can reproduce it or there are other conditions that cause it, please let us know and I will review further!

@joekaufmanexpensify Tester can still reproducible an issue after new account switch from ND to OD. It`s permanent issue. Tester used Mac/Chrome

Hmm, I just tried again in a brand new gmail account and no issue at all. @IuliiaHerets could you please try again in a gmail account? Perhaps it is an issue limited to the applause expensifail domain?

May be it's related to Beta? Applause domain would have beta enabled by default while a gmail account won't be under beta

Ah good call. Added one of my test accounts to the beta. Will try again after the beta cache wears off

I tried using my expensifail account that is on beta and could not reproduce it

@IuliiaHerets could you please have a different tester try and reproduce this, ideally in a gmail account? Would love to narrow down whether this is specific to a certain user or domain, as neither @MonilBhavsar or I can reproduce it at all.

@IuliiaHerets going to close this for now as Monil and I cannot reproduce this across a variety of different accounts. Please reopen if/when it is still reproducible by a different tester, ideally on a different domain like gmail.com or something else, and we'll review further. TY!
