Feature request

Embed a Google Analytics account code into the site, so that we are tracking traffic. I'd be happy to create the account.

What is the expected behavior?

What is motivation or use case for adding/changing the behavior?

How should this be implemented in your opinion?

Are you willing to work on this yourself?
Yes - I can create the GA account.

The Google analytics account has been set up, but are waiting for it to be embedded into the site.

Before we can add analytics, we will need to make sure we are GDPR compliant. This is blocked until we have more details worked out.

We are also considering Simple Analytics instead as it may not require any GDPR setup

Is this issue still blocked if we're using simple analytics?

Simple Analytics will work and it shouldn't take long to set up, but it's a paid product.

Okay, that's a pretty big deal.
