It appears that every release is associated with the same commit, which is also the latest commit on the main branch:
This means that when you click the Compare dropdown shown in the above image, you will always see that they are "identical":
I don't know whether the commit can be changed after the fact of a release, but it's clearly incorrect now, and it'd be wonderful if we could easily compare changes.
