Compass is Deprecated/Unsupported? #1999
Comments
+1, seems like there isn't much happening on the project? |
Bit of googling around seems to suggest this is the case https://twitter.com/spaceninja/status/573298408254910464 sounds like he announced it a ember conf. You could try http://bourbon.io/ if you want something ruby based |
Another author's decision to not support Compass in his projects has nothing to do with the state of the Compass project. |
@chriseppstein was suppose to make a blog post about the future of compass. My guess is he has not gotten around to it. The short version is development on compass has stopped and all effort has been put into the eyeglass project for libsass. |
There's this https://github.com/sass-eyeglass |
I'm the author of https://github.com/wellington/wellington. We've been using it as a replacement for Compass for over a year now. It uses libSass rather than Ruby Sass. |
I wish this could be stickied or something. |
This means my immediate side-ejection from using the tool anywhere. Back to pure Sass! |
Could the maintainers update the readme to reflect the projects status? /cc @scottdavis @ericam @imathis |
