It would be great if it was released on F-droid!

Migrate Helper is not yet open sourced. Once that happens, I will consider publishing on F-droid.

Indeed - why, please?

I don't know why this is puzzling.
F-droid needs everything to be open sourced. Hence it will take time.

OK :)

BTW, is there a version 5.0 (Apollo) compiled apk (arm64-v8a and maybe armeabi-v7a) publicly available?

No unfortunately.

hm can you shed some light on what the challenge is to upload Apollo v.5.0 apks here at github? Just trying to understand.

  1. Code changes will make the apk obsolete.
  2. I don't want apk distribution before Migrate helper is finalised.

These are mostly my personal choice, because version 4 seems to work well without much problem, so I am in no hurry.

So the Apollo version should still be considered 5.0 BETA, right? And once Migrate Helper is finalized, Migrate NG Apollo would be 5.0 in the release channel, and also have an in-app update function 5.0 -> 5.x.x, right?

Any updates on this? I'm interested in knowing which parts of this app aren't open source? Has it something to do with depending on proprietary libraries or is there source code that you haven't made public?

As I see, https://github.com/BaltiApps/Migrate-Helper is GPL v3. Is it the last piece of the puzzle?
