Expected Behavior

Open two apps either in app pairs or floating windows in the two separate displays.

Current Behavior

I first saw this behavior in floating windows mode so disabled that for the standard split screen experience. I was using Feedly on one screen and Chrome on the other as articles would open from Feedly in Chrome.

The erroneous behavior is that after a few minutes, one of the displays would sleep and then I would have two apps split screen on a single display.

Possible Solution

Unknown

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Occurs randomly but consistently

This sounds like the hinge sensor isn't reading the right hinge position and as a result it sets the wrong posture. Occasionally this occurs for me to, but usually resetting the hinge by closing the device and opening it seems to work.

This has been a repeatable issue as opening and closing and rebooting have not had any influence on the sleeping display sleeping. Thanks for the suggestion.

i can't recreate this. Do you 2 still experience this issue?

Not really, it sometimes registers the wrong posture but it does work after setting to a different posture again, at least for me

I have had no issues with this recently but occasionally I am getting the screen posture issue where the active display is set incorrectly.

The biggest issue I still see is when you have 6 icons in the shortcut bar, when you fold the display back and only use one screen then unfold into tablet mode, the right most app icon disappears.
